A week late but still..

Date: 2001-06-11

I still haven't got a connection at home (aiming for ADSL) but at least I can get online; I'm working through the backlog of mails as I write, meaning: you can actually expect an answer now :) so start your mailers!

With this connection ringsurf (who hosts the ring) seems speedy and good, the hunt for the ultimate host continues though.

Once again I must underline: I CAN'T DO SQUAT ABOUT THE RING AT YAHOO! I can't even delete it, or log in, or unsubscribe from the spam... I mean mailing-lists...

I'm moving, both physically and virtually

Date: 2001-05-30

Due to moving I've been, and still is, hard to contact, as I'm no longer online 24/7. This'll change when (if) I can get my machines at home online in a not too expensive fashion.

In other news, Yahoo's been nice enough to change things again so I can no longer log in there at all, meaning the ring at yahoo is 100% dead unless they come up with a way to sell of "unresponsive" rings... I'm more than a little irritated to say the least! All efforts must therefore go into the ring at ringsurf, and at me finding a place to host the replacement I've programmed, after I've made the user-friendly interface-bits (sigh) of course.

I'll try to update this page during the first week of June 2001 with more news.

We're leaving webring!

Webring.org has served us well, but frankly, knowing who owns it this week, and what rules and regs are in effect, has been very difficult lately. The latest news... webring is owned by Yahoo! now, and to have a site in the "new, improved" system you now need a Yahoo! ID.

Call me paranoid but no way! I know there are other ppl in the ring that feels the same as I, therefore we're switching systems, from webring to Ringsurf, at least for the time being.

The ride will have its bumps, of which I apologize in advance, I'll try to do most of the work for you but there's still things you'll have to do on your own, that is: update the html-fragment.

[ADMIN: I planned on starting this process a week ago but I got hit by the flu for the first time in over ten years...]
